Tour director and Master Drummer Bortier, is a seasoned performer, respected
musician, and an experienced teacher recognised in Ghana and Australia wide. Bortier
has taught drumming and dance in schools and conducted workshops, camps and
tours extensively in Ghana and in Australia. His biggest dream is to share his
culture with people all over the world, so, he invites you to come, challenge
yourself, be moved, be inspired and experience a different and rich culture.
Whilst the Telema Guesthouse is still being built, Bortier has carefully chosen and prepared a reputable guesthouse, in his home town, Nungua, Ghana. The guesthouse is in a friendly, peaceful location in close proximity to the beach.
Bortier’s family will welcome you, look after your every need and share with you any extra cultural experiences should you wish to immerse yourself in the culture more. You will see firsthand the beauty of community living and be part of that as much as you wish.
