ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

Whilst the Telema Guesthouse is still being built, Bortier has carefully chosen and prepared a reputable guesthouse, in his home town, Nungua, Ghana. The guesthouse is in a friendly, peaceful location in close proximity to the beach.

All rooms are serviced daily.
A laundry service is provided at a small cost.
Don’t forget your mosquito net!

Every day, three delicious Ghanaian meals will be available for you. Prepared by Bortier’s Mum and sisters you should expect a wide variety of traditional dishes. As Nungua is a coastal town, expect to eat plenty of fish. Chicken, goat, and beef are also very popular, served with tasty, spicy sauces. Rice and maize are also used in many dishes. Vegetarians, gluten free, and other special dietary needs will be catered for.

There will also be opportunities to “eat out” both locally and whilst on excursions. If you want a more hands on experience you can help with food preparations and try some pounding and grinding the African way.
